We put our boots on and headed to New Orleans to repair houses, joining with employees from CLIF BAR, Numi Tea, Seventh Generation and Timberland. Next year these like-minded companies will tackle another project, part of an ongoing partnership we call In Good Company. Tom Grace, Domestic Production Manager and Michelle Schrad, Wholesale Merchandising Projects Coordinator were part of the team.
EILEEN FISHER encourages community involvement through volunteerism. We are interested in learning about any volunteer opportunities near our offices, showrooms and stores. Whether it is one-time support, or regularly scheduled, short-term or long-term assignments, we strive to provide ideas and opportunities to everyone who has a passion for involvement. These activities may also be on behalf of specific individuals, a team or skills-based pro bono work.
Operating on the idea of strength in numbers, EILEEN FISHER joined with CLIF BAR, Numi Tea, Seventh Generation, and Timberland to launch In Good Company, a collaborative volunteer program for our companies' employees. Each year, we will identify a community in need and send up to ten employees per company to volunteer for up to two weeks at a time. All volunteer opportunities will be reviewed by the Social Consciousness Team and shared with employees in the area as appropriate. Please contact Reisa Brafman at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know about opportunities for involvement with your organization.
